Osama And Iraqi Rebels Make George Bush Eat His Own WordsBy Sanjay Sharma, Section News
In his own battery of interviews leading up to next week's celebration, President Bush said he regretted two hallmark phrases of his first term:
" 'Bring it on' was a little blunt," Mr. Bush said on the ABC program "20/20." "I remember when I talked about Osama bin Laden. I said we're going to get him dead or alive. I guess it's not the most diplomatic of language." Osama Bin Laden may have scored only 3,000, while Bush has by many counts crossed 100,000, but history may judge Osama to be the winner of this "football" match.
